Four processing modes in One machine
Fluid bed drying (FBD)
Uniform hot-air drying of wet granules discharged from the RMG. Programmable temperature and airflow profiles ensure consistent Loss on Drying (LOD) across every particle in the batch.
Top-spray granulation (FBG)
Uniform hot-air drying of wet granules discharged from the RMG. Programmable temperature and airflow profiles ensure consistent Loss on Drying (LOD) across every particle in the batch.
Bottom-spray coating (Wurster)
Precise film coating of pellets and granules via a Wurster insert. Achieves uniform coat weight gain for controlled-release, sustained-release, and enteric dosage forms.
Tangential spray - Rotor pelletisation
A rotary disc at the base creates a toroidal particle path for dense, spherical pellet formation — ideal for pelletisation, active layering, and modified-release applications.
Key Features
- Multi-chamber expansion A retarding chamber slows particle velocity before bag filters, minimising fines carry over and maximising product yield per batch.
- Inflation bowl and bag seals Pneumatically inflated silicone seals at bowl junction and filter bag seats. This allows zero product leakage, validated for full containment in potent compound processing.
- Pulse jet / automated bag shaking Programmable filter bag cleaning during and between batches maintains consistent airflow resistance and prevents bag blinding throughout the drying cycle.
- High-efficiency AHU Integrated air handling unit with HEPA-grade filtration, steam or electric heating, and dehumidification for precise, reproducible inlet air conditions.
- FLP / EX-rated construction Flame-proof motors, anti-static earthing, and optional inert gas purge for solvent-based granulations and potent active processing in hazardous areas.
- Automated WIP / CIP Integrated spray ball nozzles in bowl and retarding chamber for validated wash-in-place and clean-in-place cycles requring no manual cleaning required between products.

System integration
- Upstream from RMG: Receives wet granules via gravity chute or closed vacuum transfer – fully contained, no operator exposure.
- Downstream to mill & sifter: Dried granules discharged via bottom valve to inline Comil or vibro sifter for granule sizing before blending.
- HVAC integration: AHU connects to centralised HVAC system for GMP cleanroom differential pressure and temperature management.
- Shared CIP skid: Full granulation line – RMG + FBD + conveyors – cleaned in one automated, validated sequence from a single CIP skid.
